Personal Injury Solicitor / Fee Earner

You will join a supportive, specialist team focused on delivering positive outcomes for claimants in a broad range of personal injury matters.
Key Responsibilities in Personal Injury Law Claims
- Independently managing a caseload of personal injury files, including road traffic accidents CICA claims, employer’s liability, public liability, and occupier’s liability claims.
- Taking responsibility for claims from initial instruction through to settlement or trial, ensuring each case is progressed efficiently and in the client’s best interests.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, statements, schedules of loss, and correspondence related to personal injury matters.
- Undertaking detailed liability and quantum investigations, risk assessment, and negotiation with insurers and other parties.
- Liaising directly with clients, medical experts, counsel, insurers, and other stakeholders in a professional and approachable manner at all stages of the claim.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant SRA, AML, and regulatory requirements associated with personal injury claims management.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate case management records and meeting all court and procedural deadlines.
- Keeping abreast of developments in personal injury law and best practice, ensuring technical skills remain up to date.
Essential Skills & Experience for Personal Injury Solicitors / Fee Earners
- At least five years' experience managing a litigated caseload. Applicants can be qualified solicitor, legal executive, or qualified by experience.
- Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), relevant pre-action protocols, and litigation processes within personal injury law.
- Excellent client care, communication, and relationship-building abilities with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Confident file management, negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills, with a track record of securing successful outcomes for clients.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with case management systems, digital dictation, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Commitment to delivering high standards of professionalism, integrity, and client service within a collaborative team.
