Our client is looking to appoint a driven, dedicated, and commercially aware solicitor to play a key role within their Commercial Property team, supporting a diverse client portfolio including businesses, landlords, tenants, developers, and investors.

Commercial Property Solicitor Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and developments
• Advising clients on buying and selling commercial premises, lease negotiations, and ongoing property management issues
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, leases, licences, and associated legal documentation
• Conducting property due diligence, title reviews and searches, and preparing comprehensive reports on findings
• Liaising directly with clients, solicitors, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient transaction progression
• Handling commercial property finance and supporting on development and planning matters
• Overseeing post-completion formalities including registrations, SDLT submissions, and file management
• Ensuring all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and professional compliance requirements are fully met

Required Skills & Experience for Commercial Property Law

• Qualified solicitor with demonstrable experience in commercial property law
• Solid understanding of current commercial property legislation and practice
• Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong client care focus, with excellent relationship building skills
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organisational skills
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice software 
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a busy team and independently
