Commercial Property Solicitor
Are you an experienced solicitor seeking your next step in commercial property law? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, nationwide firm, who are offering a hybrid opportunity.
Our client is looking to appoint a driven, dedicated, and commercially aware solicitor to play a key role within their Commercial Property team, supporting a diverse client portfolio including businesses, landlords, tenants, developers, and investors.
Commercial Property Solicitor Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and developments
- Advising clients on buying and selling commercial premises, lease negotiations, and ongoing property management issues
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, leases, licences, and associated legal documentation
- Conducting property due diligence, title reviews and searches, and preparing comprehensive reports on findings
- Liaising directly with clients, solicitors, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient transaction progression
- Handling commercial property finance and supporting on development and planning matters
- Overseeing post-completion formalities including registrations, SDLT submissions, and file management
- Ensuring all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and professional compliance requirements are fully met
Required Skills & Experience for Commercial Property Law
- Qualified solicitor with demonstrable experience in commercial property law
- Solid understanding of current commercial property legislation and practice
- Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong client care focus, with excellent relationship building skills
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organisational skills
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice software
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a busy team and independently
